May Electric Solar (a DBA of William May Inc.) was founded in 2006 by William May, who personally holds the FL Master Electrician license EC13005353. He started the company on a simple philosophy — do solar the right way, every time — and still leads every installation with an in-house team.
He lives in the same community as his customers and answers their calls. When you request an assessment through Commercial Solar FL, you're working with the same licensed team that will design, permit, install, inspect, and monitor your system.
In the two decades since, May Electric Solar has installed thousands of systems across Central Florida and the Gulf Coast, and has never subcontracted a single job. Every system is designed, permitted, installed, and serviced by the company's own in-house team, under licensed master-electrician oversight.
That experience runs deep. Many of the people who design these systems have been with the company for ten years or more, so the guidance you get is built on thousands of real installations rather than a sales script.
